KP Mind & Body

Yoga Teacher, Personal Trainer and Dance Teacher.

Welcome to KP MIND & BODY

My name is Kelsey, and I’m looking forward to supporting you along your health and wellness journey.

Health isn’t just about a workout or how many classes you do. It’s not about doing the fanciest yoga pose or drinking green tea and juices every day.

Health is about finding balance in movement, consuming seasonal food and drinks to fuel your body as well as calming the mind and maybe introducing breath work and meditation.

A healthy body and mind to one person is unhealthy to another. We are all unique, therefore it is important to try and find YOUR balance – not worry about trying to make yourself look or be like anyone else.

I am here to guide and support you every step of the way.

Services KP MIND & BODY offers you

Yoga

Group Classes or 1-1 Sessions, Kelsey teaches Hatha Vinyasa Yoga as well as Yoga Nidra.

Classes and private sessions are 60 Minutes long with time for short relaxation at the end of each class. No previous experience needed and all levels welcome from beginner to advanced. Yoga helps to improve mobility, flexibility, core strength and balance both mentally and physically. Creating space in a busy world for yourself is so important. Yoga calls us to be present, working mind and body together, as one.

Personal Trainer

Kelsey is a Qualified L3 Personal Trainer and has been working as an Instructor and PT for nearly 4 years. With experience both in the gym, outdoors and now online – there are plenty of ways to move and find the one that works for you. Kelsey is passionate about making movement part of your lifestyle, not a short-term fix. With additional qualifications in Ante/Postnatal Exercise for women, TRX, Circuits/Bootcamp, Boxing, Dance and Fitness Testing – Kelsey can make your training varied and most importantly FUN.

Dance

Before becoming a Personal Trainer and Yoga Teacher, Kelsey worked as a professional Dancer, Singer and Actor. With professional training and a qualification in Musical Theatre, Kelsey passed her exam in Freestyle Dance Teaching. Her favourite style is Street Dance or Commercial and has experience teaching all ages from toddlers to adults 80+. Kelsey has also choreographed for the Sleaford Little Theatre (the first one she was sixteen years old) and now teaches weekly Street Dance classes for children/teens – currently via zoom but back to face-to-face when we can. 1-1 Sessions and Dance Parties are also available!

Maintaining balance – or even finding it – sometimes can be hard. Even harder if you have to try to figure it out on your own.

I am big on community, trusting and believing in your own abilities and helping YOU be the best version of yourself.

I help you implement small changes and celebrate every step.

The goal isn’t perfection. Because when you think you’ve ‘achieved it’ – there will always be something else. It’s in our nature.

So how can we love and celebrate our bodies, who we are and be as present as we can to get the best out of this life? Yoga, pranayama, meditation, movement – all tools to help us be our best, higher self.

There’s no magic wand or potion. But there is love, there is kindness. And the more we share with each other, the more we realise – we are in this together.

Hope to see you on the mat soon,

Kelsey x
